Mobile Docking Solutions

MDS develops fully customizable mobile dock trailers for facilities that need additional transfer positions, better use of limited space and an adaptable alternative to permanent construction.

The design work combines conventional dry-van or reefer equipment with reinforced interiors, multiple roll-up door arrangements, dock interfaces, electrical and lighting systems, climate equipment and optional work areas.

Design Process

Understand the site

Map facility openings, vehicle positions, yard circulation, product flow and operating constraints.

Configure the platform

Select trailer type, length, openings, dock equipment, structure, power, lighting, climate systems and interior zones.

Fabricate and finish

Reinforce the trailer, create the coordinated openings and integrate the selected systems around the approved arrangement.

Deploy or relocate

Position the completed trailer as a working dock and retain the ability to move or reassign the asset.

Five-door mobile dock concept elevation

From layout to fabrication

Coordinate the Whole Trailer

A concept elevation establishes door count and placement before fabrication. The detailed work then coordinates framing, track paths, axle and landing-gear clearances, dock equipment, utilities, access and exterior finishes.

Configurations Documented Across the Archive

The portfolio includes one- through nine-door arrangements, dry and refrigerated platforms, offices, restrooms, ramps, stairs, generators, solar equipment, lighting packages, dock seals, plates and levelers.
